Energy performance certificates
Direct & digital.

For the implementation of the European Green Deal and the German Climate Protection Act, the CO₂ equivalents, energy requirements (primary and final energy demand) and the energy efficiency class of buildings must be determined in order to initiate appropriate measures.

SkenData offers the digital solution for this.

Energy efficiency and CO2

For the recording of energy efficiency and CO2 equivalents of existing contracts, SkenData Portfolio Energy offers the output of sustainability information and energy efficiency classes.

To enable reporting in accordance with the

  • EU Taxonomy,
  • Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR),
  • Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), but also
  • corporate targets (e.g. Science Based Targets, Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance), as well as the
  • the European Central Bank (ECB) stress test

a systematic analysis of the EU taxonomy in the building stock is necessary.

With SkenData Portfolio Energy, SkenData opens up an efficient collection and reporting process.

With this innovative tool, banks, insurers, asset managers and the housing industry receive the solution for digital and automated determination and reporting of the building portfolio in energy efficiency classes and CO2 equivalents.

Your contribution to the Race to Zero

Energy-efficient buildings are crucial for a sustainable future. They reduce CO₂ emissions and significantly lower energy costs, which is both environmentally friendly and cost-saving.

Energy efficiency is the key to a sustainable and economically advantageous future.

The SkenData EnergyCheck creates an energy assessment of residential buildings in the shortest possible time, including an energy requirement certificate and renovation roadmap – and it’s completely digital.

EnergyCheck – Energy requirement certificate

From one address to energy certificate

The address is sufficient for georeferencing. The address is used to create an indication of the CO₂ balances and energy efficiency class for the building. The actual balances can be determined using the plausibility check function.

The result is an officially registered, GEG-compliant and DIN V 18599 standardized energy demand certificate as well as a refurbishment roadmap that provides an overview of possible refurbishment measures and their energy and economic effects.

EnergyCheck – Renovation schedule

From one address to energy certificate

The renovation schedule (SFP) serves as an essential consulting, planning and control instrument and serves as the basis for:

  • Construction planning services,
  • the financing planning of residential real estate,
  • portfolio analyses and
  • as an incentive for customer discussions and energy-efficient refurbishments

The schedule provides information on the current energy status of a building and on which measures are considered suitable and sensible for a building in order to reduce CO₂ emissions and energy requirements, increase energy efficiency and increase the proportion of renewable energy sources to approximate a KfW standard.

EnergyCheck Packages

GEG and DIN-compliant energy requirement certificates according to your needs

Whether you are an individual assessor or a large company – our EnergyCheck packages can be booked in various package sizes and always include an unlimited number of EnergyChecks, refurbishment schedules and provisional energy demand certificates.

The registered energy demand certificate can be booked as an option in every package.

ESG opening balance

One-stop store – from opening balance to energy performance certificate

The ESG opening balance is a key tool for evaluating and optimizing the energy efficiency of buildings.

As part of the ESG opening balance, comprehensive evaluations are carried out in order to obtain a detailed indication of the building stock with the following parameters, among others:

  • CO₂ equivalents [kg/m2a]
  • Final energy demand [kWh/m2a]
  • Primary energy demand [kWh/m2a]
  • Energy efficiency class [A+ to H]
  • Refurbishment data

The evaluation of this data makes it possible to develop targeted measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint.

The ESG inventory analysis is carried out offline and can be conveniently processed via .csv or .xlsx files.

Your benefits

Compared to manual determination by an energy consultant or the recording of scanned energy consumption certificates, the relevant information is immediately visible when using SkenData. At the same time, the solution speeds up the process of creating ESG reports for banks, insurers and the housing industry.

This not only increases efficiency. It also makes it easy to quickly adapt to new legal regulations and company-specific guidelines.

Furthermore, the results can be transferred directly into the sales process.
